..." did you see that ludicrous display last night?" That callback is certainly a treat for the fans. I think this episode was funnier when first watched because it is that gender role reversal of not being taken seriously about reporting inappropriate touching (by your direct manager as well), falls a bit flatter now these things are taken more seriously in general. I actually like the B storyline about Douglas as a commentary on "The Secret" where privileged people can believe it's a secret power that good things happen to them and if you don't get what you want, then you're just not wishing for it hard enough. Quite a political episode really!
2022-10-25 08:18:29 +0000 UTCI have no idea what they were going for here. Is it just an odd riff on the Seinfeld episode where George got a massage from a masseur and "it moved"? Is it just mocking such pursuits over good ol' bottom smacks as overreactions? Double standards? No idea. Might've been interesting and funny if set up better. But if not for Moss... it falls flat in every way.
