Our final post of the week and you know what they say, we saved the best for last! We are deep (or 2) episodes in to the new centennial episodes and we are loving it so far. The music, the graphics. Everything! So TODAY we are checking out Ep 102 of Run BTS! Today it's part 1 of a 2 part episode with, King of Avatar Cook Part 1. The title has us thinking the guys are going to be doing some cooking but where will they be hanging?
Well the guys are on location and the name of the game is cooking! With V and JK as today's avatar cooks today's cooking is full of laughs. But everyone ends up pleasantly surprised with the meal. We are also rating our cooking skills! 😜 We will be back next week with Part 2. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

2025-10-10 14:10:24 +0000 UTCthere's some fans that get mad when we say tae is slow, or say that he's not, and i think it's a disservice to tae, because he is and he knows he is, and it's not a flaw, it's just as much a part of his character as his curiosity is, it has nothing to do with how fast he "gets" things, how smart he is or any mental aspects, it's literally just the pace at which he moves. I know he can be fast, but he's clearly more at ease being slower when he has a choice. Even when he's cooking something he's very at ease with, like in In the Soop with the sweet rice, he still takes a long time bc why wouldn't he? I love this man so much, and i'm tired how we can't point out what is unique about him without people thinking we mean it's a flaw or has to be fixed. idk why i went on tangent there, love this episode, one of my favorite, everyone is just so cute, and it would be hilarious to see you guys try this avatar thing! Doesn't even have to be cooking!

He learns choreos fast, interacts with people of all demographics seamlessly, has a good feel of art and photography. His peers pick up certain things faster, so he feels like that. I sound like a solo stan 😄, and he does say he is slow, but it does take a few decades to realise you are not slow.

We saw JK taking the lead when it came to any cooking) And then the assistant chefs are usually Hobi and Jimin and I would say they are both at the same level in terms of cooking Then finall Tae and RM but they have gotten much better

It comes in this bowl and all you need is peel the top a little and heat it up. Definitely a staple to have whenever you have meat or any kind of gravy with it. My go-to food to have whenever I was in SK and don't wanna eat out. Try to find it at your local K-Food Mart and taste it for yourselves!

I remember trying Uncle Ben's during college because I missed my mom's cooking, I did NOT like the flavours and the grains were way too hard 😄 I didn't salt my rice either, until my mom told me I had to include some salt in my diet 🤷♀️ I also just learned from the video that people cook rice in pots at home (and not rice cookers), I always thought that was like a camping thing 🤔 that sounds like advanced level rice cooking!

2025-08-08 15:26:56 +0000 UTCi hope this doesn’t spoil anything but this is just a friendly suggestion, that there are certain multi-part episodes (118 & 119, 120 & 121, 145 & 146 & 147) that i think should be either a double release (triple in some cases) or that yall could try to squeeze those episodes in one filming day, making it count as that week’s long-form content? just because i think since yall tend to forget certain things or details about the previous episode it won’t be as enjoyable watching when you can’t really recall much of what happened in the episode that came before? (plus a certain multi-part episode is a REALL slow burn) hope this makes sense and that you could consider this at least for the episodes i mentioned above!

It must be tough to 1) only give directions, but not be able to do anything yourself (Jin) and 2) only follow instructions, without your own input and constantly change (Tae & JK). Still, the food tasted good and the teamwork in the kitchen worked without any issues. I would much rather cook myself with no recipe or support than be in either position, tbh :D EDIT: Ah, now I really can't wait for Jinny's Kitchen!
