Content Update August 2020

Hey gang,

How's it going? Hope you enjoyed the last video. Not gonna lie, the current mood in the US. has me being a bit of a doomer right now. I feel like a lot of people currently get this encroaching feeling that everything is going down the drain. The upcoming election in the US. has me being kinda uneasy as well since Biden is far from having this in the bag IMO. I'm lucky enough to be located in Germany rn but, I don't know, it's weird. I already thought about adding a channel to the discord where people can get advice if they plan to immigrate to Germany from the US. Maybe I'm being a bit overdramatic though.

Hopefully, Biden pulls through and the biggest enemy for the left in the US. can be neoliberalism rather than galloping fascism. Anyway, sorry if that's a little dark. Just thought I'd let you guys know what's on my mind in addition to what I'm working on. Speaking of which; the September video is gonna be the second installment of PragerU vs. Reality with a heavy focus on the Iraq war. Not only do they have several (outrageously deceitful) videos on the subject but I feel like the Iraq war is a good subject to revisit as a lot of architects of that war make their way into new positions of influence under the guise of being "never-Trump" Republicans. 

Apart from that, looking beyond PragerU's falsehoods at the bigger picture, it's really amazing how the invasion was justified, pushed for, and executed based on literally nothing. It's a process that's almost beyond belief and hopefully, the video draws into focus how easily large groups of people are misled for malicious intent. I don't want to make a "PragerU Debunked!" video since I don't think you folks would get a lot out of that. Ideally, those videos will just serve as a jump-off point.

Also another German one on the general history of the Iraq war.

Its gonna be out in mid to late September so thus far I'm able to go back to the 1 vid per month upload cycle. Some videos this year definitely got too bloated and that took away from making more content. I feel like I have a good grip on in now though. I also got a professional editor to take care of the audio which should take some work of my back that is better spent writing scripts. Another change worth mentioning is that I had some enamel pins made and added them to the "The Full Quiver" - Tier!
