I agree with that. I just don't think Dan has ever seen a show where vampires have let their existence be known and humans have agreed to let them live amongst them. Later seasons fell off but it introduced us to some very memorable characters. Most episodes ended with cliffhangers and I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

True blood started out hot for a couple seasons then went wonky like Lost. I like it better than Lost, though. I like that it was shot in Louisiana. It got too “Twilight .”

Interesting. Helen McCroy always reminded me of Mary Elizabeth Winstead tbh

You really should give True Blood a try; the series where vamps and humans have decided to co-exist. Pennywise's brother, Alexander Skarsgård, is in it.🧛♂️

Tom Cruise is a great actor. I love him in VANILLA SKY. A psychedelic movie you should see.

So Anne Rice was initially upset that Tom Cruise was cast as Lestat. She retracted that sentiment after seeing the finished movie though lol.
Speaking of casting, Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy) plays a prostitute in this, according to IMDb. I'm thinking the one from the coffin scene but haven't been able to figure which one she is for sure.

Man I just started watching the show this week, I’m on episode 4 and it’s even better. I’m a huge fan of this movie too, and out off watching the show because I was a die hard movie version fan. Lestat in the show is amazing, and Louie is played by Gray Worm!
