From the first time I saw Daemon and Rhaenyra onscreen together (when he gave her a necklace) I felt there was a sexual attaction between them. As far Viserys' illness, I originally suspected that someone was poisoning the blades of the throne so that everytime he got a cut, it was infecting him.

2023-09-05 19:41:18 +0000 UTCI question Daemon's motives with Rhaenyra. Yes he wants to be king but I think he might really love his niece. He showed a lot of weakness and restraint in this episode. Up until now all we've seen is his brutality and his sharpness. Here we see him stop himself from actually having Rhaenyra. Also, he's been alcohol sick for seemingly days? Doesn't seem like his norm to allow himself to be in such a weakened state.
