I don't think there's a chance that Margaery will become as evil as Joffrey. But at the same time, I'm not sure if she's truly a nice person or just pretending to be a nice person. I don't think she enjoys Joffrey's cruelty. She's just playing along, stroking his ego, because she really wants to be queen.

I never felt like she was completely in the wrong for feeling that way towards Jon, but at the same time it’s not Jon’s fault that he was born from an affair so I could see her feeling guilty for her thoughts on him. Especially since she kind of thinks it’s the reason all the bad things have happened to her family since then.

2023-02-16 05:28:51 +0000 UTCI DESPISE that Catelyn scene. It’s entirely made up for the show. It’s completely out of character for her. She owed Jon Snow nothing. How she treated him was completely normal. He’s not a step child, he’s the illegitimate child of a woman Ned had an affair with. Notice every other man keeps their bastards hidden for the most part. Ned paraded Jon in front of Catelyn. Treated him no different than his legitimate kids. Her saying she wanted Jon to be given the surname Stark is in direct contradiction of her character in the books. She feared Ned would naturalize Jon so Jon could challenge Robb’s claim to Winterfell. It makes complete sense for her to not have positive feelings for Jon.
