That damn BOAAAAAAAR fucked everything up. 3. Ser Barristan quit his job like a boss. I think Jaime talked about him earlier episode that he is the best swordsman he has ever seen. "Like a painter who paints with red". He fought on the side of the mad king against Ned and Robert and got badly wounded. They were so impressed about his skills and loyality that they patched him up and asked him to join Kings Guard when Robert became the king. Not a spoiler but his history.
