BANNED from GumRoad! (And a Health Update)

Fortunately I've been feeling a lot better lately. Pretty much back to normal. Hopefully that vertigo won't ever happen again. But at least if it does, I'll have some idea what's going on.

UNfortunately, if you tried to buy any of my image packs over the weekend you'll have seen that I've been banned from GumRoad. Strictly speaking I haven't been banned—the account is still active and up—but all of the stuff I had for sale has been removed.

If you bought anything it will stay in your account though so you can still access it. That said, you'll definitely want to make a local copy because who knows what might happen in the future.

Even though everyone knew it was coming eventually, it's still pretty frustrating for me. I was making a fairly consistent $100/week of passive income on GumRoad. While that's not a ton of money, it does add up. Suddenly losing that overnight certainly doesn't help.

It's likely I'll be creating an Itch.io page in the near future for all my adult work. A lot of people are moving there for now. I think there's a pretty good chance that Itch will also be forced to remove adult content by their payment processors too at some point (since it's mostly the same people), but I guess we'll see.

When I do create the Itch page, it's likely I'll run a pretty significant sale on everything to try and drive some traffic there. So if you are interested, just wait a few days and you can probably pick it up at a discount.

As for work going forward I'm back to my regular schedule now and should be doing more regular updates. I'm still working on transitioning more and more to 3D work and animation. I want to try and strike that balance between doing regular updates and doing 3D which is a lot more time consuming. And the comic will be back as well. I'll be uploading the next two pages later this week.
