Hey folks! Thank you so much for your support! Here's the speedpaint process vid that was a part of July's rewards. It's still in the dropbox link for you to download directly if you want it, but I'm going to try having some speedpaint/process videos live as patron-only posts, too!

I talked a little bit about it on Twitter, but this month my partner and I took a week long vacation to roadtrip down from Washington state to San Jose, CA to see Hugh Jackman's The Man, the Music, the Show. The trip was much, much needed for my mental health which hasn't been so great this summer, but it also means that I really... haven't been drawing much recently. (ohhh noooo)
I took an hour to speedpaint and try to get back into the swing of things. I chose a high-contrast photo of Hugh Jackman from his show, because that real bright top-down spotlight caught my eye and y'all know I'm all. about. that. stage. lighting.
I started in CSP but realized Photoshop was gonna be way more efficient for this sort of workflow (in which I completely abandoned lineart with absolutely zero regrets), sorry for that switch! (This speedpaint also doubled as a PS brush test, so that was useful, too!)
