Alex's Design

You know, Alex was in the comic before we even knew his name!

While his design and personality was different back then, his original purpose was always the same: being Blake's crush.

At first I thought of him as a serious, no-nonsense guy, but the idea was discarded because it was similar to Blake's personality.

Then his design became chubbier and scruffier, but the design looked too bland... you know, too generic.

After a long time of no appearing in the comic I came up with the idea of making him more upbeat and adventurous, a perfect contrast to Blake. By the time, he was a guy with a traveling blog who, by a quirk of fate, got stuck in the town.

When I rebooted the comic, his role, like the comic itself, became simpler, he's now the neighborhood's mailman, while still retaining his bold personality, of course~!
