Here we have a card design for an unnamed game by Julio Nazario. In this 2 player game players will compete to be the best athlete. Illustrating athletes in mid action is a tough task. We want there to be movement in the illustration. We believe there is a sense of movement thanks to the subject's pose, the bend in the pole and the lines/color in the background. All this together gives a sense of action which is what we want in a sport themed game.
And how could we have a game about athletics without some medals? On the back side of the card we see a gold medal in Track & Field. We are happy with the clean design of these cards and are excited to see this project coming together like this. As always, we want to thank our graphic designer Milan for always understanding our vision for the graphic design and turning that into something that looks great and feels playable!
