Friday Art Preview - 7/22/22

Hi there and welcome back to another Friday Art Preview. This time we have some completed cards to share with you.

If you recall, a while ago I shared some rough concepts for At the Helm. Today I have a few cards that are ready and going to print. This one is one of the item cards. In the earlier version the layout was a bit more rough and the item was not colored in. We feel like this new design falls more into the "Captain's Log' look we were going for.

I previously shared with you the artwork for the sea serpent, but here it is on a card! As you can see each card has some colorful icons.

Another piece of artwork I previously shared was the Captain's portrait. It has now been updated with a background and a nice frame. Integrated right into the frame of the portrait is the player's health tracker.

This card is for an upcoming 9 card game called Worder. In the game you will draw letters one at a time and try to extend your existing card grid horizontally and vertically for maximum points. The catch is that with each letter added, you need to be able to form a new word using those letters.

The final card I'll be sharing with you is one of the ink blots from Shades of Ink. We haven't talked about Shades of Ink much but it is an upcoming roleplaying game. Shades of Ink is a solo game where you will note what you see in the ink blots and fight to destroy the shades that manifest from your visions. The fun part in working on the design for these cards is that after staring for a while I would start to see things in the ink! On this card I can see a frog. What do you see?
