Friday Art Preview - 7/15/22

Hello and welcome back to our Friday Art Previews. This week we have some super rough sketches for an upcoming game as well as a more complete near ready card. Today's theme for the images is the sea!

Here we have a layout sketch for our upcoming game Barataria. You may recognize this as the winner of our legacy game challenge. This one is super early in it's illustration stage so this is just a rough sketch. It's still exciting to see the progress of the art as it reaches it's final version. This is done by Fachri, the artist that illustrated Death Valley and the Battlecrest locations.

Here is another sketch. This one is a more action packed scene with ships engaged in battle. I'm very excited to see the final version of this one!

Here are a few characters from Barataria. These were illustrated by Marta who designed and illustrated The Forest Watch. If you're excited for more Barataria there are many more characters for me to share!

And now for a more complete image. This is a card from At The Helm. It's not 100% done but it's getting there. I mentioned before that we wanted to get a "captain's log" look on these cards. It fits well with today's strong nautical theme.
