November Update

With the Halloween storyline drawing to a close, and my sanity nearing its end as well, I figured I'd post a little update.

I have decided to not plan a storyline for November. A short one might still happen, but there is something fundamentally flawed with my long term process of making these comics, and I can't fix that if I can't step away from it. It's affecting me physically, mentally, and frankly I get so lost in the sauce I can't even tell if the quality is suffering or not.

Now, there's also exclusive content. Daily Life Snapshots and Adventures of Steven. I've only done one so far of the latter, and honestly, neither are sustainable. However, I do intend to replace those with something else, and that ties into what I want to spend November doing:

"Just having fun drawing."

Sketches, studies, unpolished fan art, etc. I want to get better at the things that I'm not, and more consistent in the things that I am good at. You'll still see plenty of the gang, but I do think I need a temporary escape from how I make these comics so I can come back and make them in a way that's not as exhausting. And this little "break" ties into the exclusive content stuff. I want to create a habit of sketching and drawing silly stuff for fun. At the moment, I don't have the energy for that, but I realize I need that aspect of creating to maintain the mental status quo.

Basically, taking a step back, finding joy in my work again, and have "sketchdumps" be a Patreon exclusive thing. Maybe even wallpaper art once a month, idk.

Just getting ahead of the inevitable breakdown like I had last year, because apparently I've learned nothing, at least until now.

And to end it, this comic wouldn't exist without all of you. It's why I put so much fucking work into it, lol. So as always, I really appreciate your support, and I hope you'll choose to stay until we're properly back in business.
