"Almost like vampiric" yea. pretty vampire xd I love Noblesse sooo much (The webtoon), Rai, Frankie, M21 <3 aaaah I love it so much (funfact, it was the first webtoon ive ever stuck around for until the end! (read as it was released) but its basically a vampire vs human vs werwolfs kind of stuff. es kimcch mentioned, it's adaptaions are rather bad (and ofc not complete at all) sadly there has yet to be a show that can scratch my specific vampire itch, that is Vampire Knight

2024-10-13 10:42:39 +0000 UTCnoblesse is originally a manhwa that later got an ova & anime adaptation! the story follows a vampire who wakes up after an 800 year long sleep & has to gradually learn how to adapt to his life in modern society, with a bigger underlying plot that i won't get into here to avoid spoilers. there's lots of supernatural shenanigans, a healthy mix of drama, action & comedy, and tons of lovable characters! unfortunately, even as someone who's usually very easy to please & likes to look at things from a more positive angle, the anime is...pretty dang awful, to say the least. at least in comparison to the original story - apparently, someone thought it'd be a good idea to try and squeeze 100+ chapters into about 13 episodes AND add a few anime-original scenes just for the heck of it, leading to major plot points being completely cut out (for instance, the introduction of the MAIN VILLAIN) or HEAVILY rushed at best. i remember watching it with my friends back when it came out and pausing to explain a lot in-between scenes/episodes because it was so all over the place... that being said, i do highly recommend reading the manhwa, it's a longer story with about 550-ish chapters, but very much worth it!
