There is always a dark side to a theme park, what goes on behind the curtains, and who's inside the animal costumes. From what I remember there are things going on behind the scenes which sometimes are crazier than the characters acting in the park.

The anime is from 2014, and it has only 1 season (the source material, written by the author of Full Metal Panic, is quite a bit longer). The ED can be misleading, the anime itself is more akin to the way it's shown in the OP. A sorta comedy style mixed with more serious themes and some fantasy elements, lovable characters and, obviously, great animation. It's KyoAni, that's saying enough.
