2024-05-09 13:35:12 +0000 UTC"Jinshi the eunuch" is 24, but it's a mask. He is actually 19 as he said, which should be the final puzzle piece needed (info end of Ep 10 and through 11.) The show wont cleanly explain things, because we're supposed to know things from Maomao's perspective, learn it when she does. She doesn't want to connect the dots because knowing who this important person is (important enough to try and kill) will just bring more trouble, especially as a commoner.

2024-05-08 20:13:10 +0000 UTC14:00 Maomao's VA also did Tanya in The Saga of Tanya the Evil, so here she let's Tanya loose for that evil laugh. So now we know for certain Jinshi and Gaoshun are not eunuchs, Gaoshun has attended Jinshi since he was a child,so Basen being the same age as Jinshi probably knew each other from childhood. Now we can see why Basen was training with Jinshi and why he was enraged with this attempt on Jinshi's life.
