2023-01-01 00:11:16 +0000 UTCSpoilers but also not: The golem in the bath is meant to be a humorous moment as much as a surprise. in the LN Luci*Fer was big on bathing and cleanliness etiquette, as you hear just before the fight starts one of them goes to get in the bath without cleaning their body off first (a big no no in Japan esp in public baths). The Golem is there to attack and punish anyone who breaks etiquette and is, in theory, as strong as any other Floor Guardian but will only be animate in the bathrooms and only fight those who break etiquette xD It's a fun little goof that the LN makes clear is a goof, though I feel the anime makes it seem maybe more serious then intended cause of music choice but is still funny once you know what's going on. Next episode won't even show the resolution to the Golem fight, I think it gets like a mention. The LN didn't even detail the golem fight from what I remember.

2022-12-31 20:38:10 +0000 UTCtbf to you, Demiurge is based on a demon/devil of trickery, evil and deception so like... It's not surprising (and you're not in a small group) that you'd be suspicious of him, especially not knowing some of the pretext and premise of the show going in.
