Almost Went Berzerk
Added 2022-02-20 12:51:53 +0000 UTCTried to upgrade to DAZ 4.20.
VERY painful experience. I'm not sure I could recommend it. I had to do some registry editor crap on Windows to get it to even install.
For some reason, it wouldn't overwrite 4.15 binaries even though DIM said 4.20 was installed. Verified the paths and everything. Just wouldn't overwrite. Tried making new folder for it. Nope. Didn't work either.
Painful.
DAZ Central was even worse.

2022-02-20 19:20:16 +0000 UTCLooks like this update makes a lot of trouble. There are several threads in the DAZ forum, saying that shaders didn't work as before. Just reading the comments in the release post ( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/551251/daz-studio-4-20-0-x-pro-general-release ) sound not very promising. I still try to find out if there are new features in this release, or if it's only bug fixes.
