Only since you mention Irish films in which nothing happens, The Quiet Girl (2022) is a story by the same writer that is quintessentially Irish and a stunning masterpiece of filmmaking.

It's nice that you thought it stood for Honest but it is good to remind folks that it is always important to be humble when offering their opinions. That acknowledges that their point of view/opinion/comment may not be correct. Unlike mine, which are always perfect. 😉

It's almost like a remix of some earlier episodes which improves on some and makes others worse, especially Up the Long Ladder and the Ensigns of Command. I like a good intellectual plot, but this one has always felt plodding and I find watching the internal politics of this planet to be like paint drying.
