Yeah I did get the target demographic when it was on sale so add in “Godzilla Final war” 2004.

Major Daniel H

Is it to late to get mine in? I get one right?

Major Daniel H

I had changed mine to “Awakenings”

T’Pynyn of Vulcan

Wait, what this exists? I'm going to find it now!

its where Al Qaeda came from. We armed them against the Soviets. Same with Saddam Hussein in Iraq, arming him against the Iranians. The weapons of mass destruction were given to him by the US in the 80s. That whole war was supposedly about whether he had destroyed all of them or kept some (not really what it was about). The term when these turn against the US is called "Blowback" and is a major issue for libertarians. There was the TOS episode where both the Federation and te Klingons were arming factions to maintain a "balance of power". That was directly about the US's cold war policy with the Kilngons beeing the soviets

paultardspambot .

yes, during the cold war and to this day, the US supplied arms and intelligence to countless factions to promote its own interests. Like, countless times.

I don't see my name. It should’ve been on there months ago. Is there any way to check, or do we need to wait for your PDF releases? In case you forgot, please add “The Changling” (1980) as my choice.

WarGames (1983)

KevinH

Watership Down (1978)

Magicmunke

I suggest that if any form of Superman II wins, there could be a vote on which version. I would also go with the theatrical version… it’s more complete.

James H

Good choice, but Josh & Alex probably should see the theatrical release first due to the Donner Cut having to be an amalgamation of test footage, his use of some Lester shots & the films original ending. That said, I fucking love it! 🦸‍♂️

Billy T. Riker

Ed Wood

EnigmaticPenguin

I feel like I won already with 12 Angry Men but if im eligible for an entry: Brewster’s Millions (1985)

Andrew Duffy

Superman II (Directors Cut)

The Ninth Doctor

Hey, good call. My inclination would be to get you guys away from purely genre stuff given that you seem to be inclined toward character over plot or spectacle - no horror, no scifi, no pure action, and no ??submarine movies??. How about 'Lone Star', 1996. Criminally underwatched, and John Sayles' best flick.

Dor

Oh wow. Haven’t seen that since it came out.

PIG

Alex has seen both, Josh hasn’t seen either

Josh (Target Audience)

Any non-Star Trek movie

Josh (Target Audience)

Killdozer (1974) IMDB description: "A small construction crew on an island is terrorized when a spirit-like being takes over a large bulldozer, and goes on a killing rampage."

1. Shawshank Redemption, 1994. 1A. If you haven't already seen it, Field of Dreams 1989. Seeing your reactions to certain TNG moments / episodes, I'm certain that you would enjoy it as well.

Derek Lawrence

In this post, they indicate it is happening Wednesday.

Have either of you seen Hard Boiled (1992)? If not I'd like to submit that to the list.

Skullman8942

The PDF doesn't open for me. What r the parameters for the film? Any movie?

Michael Nemo

I would like to suggest Nausicaa of the valley of the wind (1984). Great sci-fi anime.

Hidden Ruu

Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970)

Jeff

Can I add The Final Countdown (1980)?

Ben Levitin

I didn’t see my name on the list, so just to make sure you have this as my choice is Suicide Kings (1997).

TalynStarburst

Whoops my bad.

Eric Wilson

Josh (Target Audience)

There is no voting but I’ll add Sneakers for you
