What tier are you planning on joining? Here’s a few reminders:
- ALL current paying members will be remain in their current price/tier and upgrading is not required unless you want the new benefits or to help us reach our Patreon goal
- PATREON GOAL: 3 episodes of our Star Trek Journey per week once we hit 1,000 members of the $10 Audience Member tier or higher (currently at 221 thanks to Target Demographic)
- Patreon Exclusive Reaction Series UNCUT & EDITED in early 2025 for members of the $10 Audience Member tier & above. Show will be decided by the Bridge Crew

I was tempted to try the BC but I’m not lucky enough to be one of the five to start. I’ll prob stay at my 10 dollar level and see where it goes. Love the videos and I hope you guys get to a place you can make it your full time gigs.

2024-10-19 18:54:03 +0000 UTCI am sure this has already been answered, but it would take me too long to go thru all messages and any replies so here goes: Do the monthly bridge crew get a movie choice in the movie lottery or only the annual peeps? I can't do the annual because it just is too much all at once like that, but spread out monthly I can do plus you guys would make more off me monthly than an annual person because they get the discount. So, I was just wondering if the lowly monthly bridge crew members also get the movie lottery. That's the only thing preventing me from upgrading from my $10/mth membership as of now. I already have my movie choice in the lottery, so what happens if I upgrade to bridge crew monthly? Do I stay in the lottery or will I be booted out?

But I'll be sticking with $5 annual; just can't justify a 50% increase. With trash collection just raised 10%, phone just raised 8%, electric will raise to who knows... but somehow incomes barely budge.

2024-10-19 16:12:31 +0000 UTCSorry wall-o-text. When I was watching the original announcement video and I saw the $5 tier was going up in price to $10 I was initially and immediately frustrated. I live paycheck to paycheck and there IS times where I'm down to my literal last couple dollars and I feel there like its gets a bit ridiculous if you sign up to multiple reactor channels, even if you only pay $5 per channel if you start signing up to multiple people that cost adds up quick and when channels hike their prices even higher it becomes not worth it. And I wouldn't be able to stay continuously subbed long term to keep the $5 (again I do occasionally have to let the sub go for a week or two till I get to the next payday) So I WILL lose the $5 sub guaranteed. So if I want to keep watching your full Star Trek reactions this is a forced price hike for me. HOWEVER you then made the announcement of potentially adding a 3rd episode a week and cutting back on breaks in between. I have wished for more episodes of star trek from you since I originally found you and the breaks have annoyed me to no end, so this eased the frustration a bit if it actually happens. I wish I knew if the 3rd episode was indeed going to happen or not, unfortunately its locked behind IF enough people sign up. So I have decided I will sign up for the $10 tier initially and hope everyone else is doing the same and we unlock that 3rd episode immediately. If it doesn't unlock fairly soon I can't justify $10/mon for just 2 star trek reactions a week. I am not here for any other reason (I can't rely on the extra show being something I will like and its only season to season guaranteed so it could switch on us all at any point and if they vote for say Supernatural and we watch season 1 and then they vote for another show instead of season 2 like a bunch of heathens I would be livid.) So at the end of the day I will sign up for the 10 buck tier but if the 3rd episode doesn't show up fairly quickly I will likely just end my sub altogether and go back to catching your youtube star trek uploads and use that 10 bucks elsewhere.

I chose to support you both in this spirit because I believe you are doing something unique with your channel. I also believe in encouraging individuals who take risks and stand out from the crowd. I just hope the "balance of power" doesn't stray too far from your vision for your channel and into the hands of a select few. I might be blowing this out of proportion and overthinking it, and I apologize if that’s the case. Overthinking is one of my many faults.

Can't see myself calling it quits until maybe the Abrahms films, which will be like 4-5 years from now. I'll take this opportunity to say I do regret not finding you guys sooner though. First video I saw was you guys taking the piss out of people complaining about your Wrath of Khan reaction. I immediately jumped on Patreon after that. You two have worked hard to cultivate an audience and deserve to make the money you want from this. I can't afford to go up to the crazy high tiers but since you're keeping this grandfathered in, I'm here for it.

Questions about the movie, if we choose the movie we had in the lottery as our annual request, can we replace the movie we had in the lottery? If someone else chooses our lottery movie for their annual request, can we change our lottery movie?

Maximum engagement increases the odds of the most enjoyment and hopefully, channel success, but in the end, people want what they pay for. And the content still has to be interesting to you guys to cover or else everybody loses. There's got to be a sweet spot.

Would have no objection to going to $10 again if A) it looks like 3x Trek is going to happen or B) The Patreon series is something that interests me AND seems likely to continue to completion. Would not be opposed to higher tiers, but there would have to be more content on the channel that is up my alley and horror is, unfortunately, the one genre I could give a fuck about. :) This is just a statement of personal preference, not a criticism - your channel, you do you.

If they vote no then they would decide on another series. Being part of the Bridge Crew, you would be able to vote yes for it to continue, but obviously it’s a group decision.

Because I might upgrade if a series that I really like is chosen but if after season 1 of that series it might switch to a different one I'm not sure that's a risk I want to take.

Not voted, can’t afford any tier above the one I’m on, so if things change and we have to pay more to stay, I’m sorry but I’ll have to prioritise other things. Been a supporter since early on and this is the only Patreon account I have joined, so I’ll be sad to go as I’ll miss the exclusive content especially the uncut reactions to watch along with.
