Don't spoil things

Saoirse Ronan seems abnormally high on that list... I mean she's great but #6 all-time? Awesome that Brenden and Domhnall Gleeson both made the cut!

Patrick Rynearson

O’Brien must suffer.

Reality Strikes

Yeah, my dad showed me Videodrome when I was like 8 and it messed me up for a bit. The 80s were a wild time to grow up. I haven't ever seen Scanners all the way through but it was huge is 80s and 90s nerd culture in my area so you got to know it by osmosis.

I've never seen Scanners nor Videodrome, but I think Videodrome is known for having a few famous scenes.

Wow, I thought this episode was super lame. Each to their own opinion.

"It's not you I hate, Cardassian. I hate my wife's cooking."

Look out for the name, Marc Alamo

@12:53 Alex to Josh, after Josh states the obvious: "(snort) Thanks... Jeff." Nice! A little 'Uncharted 2: Among Thieves' reference. Amy Hennig would be proud! Although, pretty sure Nolan North adlibbed that jab.

The Fuppits

I wonder if this and the wedding last episode where originally thought of together as one miles episode, but they realized they had 2 great ideas and split them

Colby Scovil-Turton

Hahah it was a positive “holy crap”

Josh (Target Audience)

"89 minutes, holy crap." Boy, the window gets tighter and tighter every video!

Juan Tutrífor

That last shot of Patrick Stewart's face: the sheer gravitas.

Charlie's Illiteracy

Scanner and Videodrome are surprising, I never hear anyone talk about them. Great episode and introduction of one of my favorite Trek species. No spoiler, but Miles is a real member of the crew. Marc Alaimo is awesome, we get more of him later but in different roles. Highly recommend the 'Chief O'Brien at Work' web comic, I don't think it has spoilers but good for a laugh. Imzadi for correcting you guys. Gul is a rank for the Cardassians, commander or captain Macet is the family name.

I love when they can do a "their premise was right but their actions were wrong" sort of stories. The ethics of starfleet always fascinated me.

Max Yoder

I wonder if they were experimenting a bit with the writers’ room approach to episodes, which explains why so many writing credits in recent episodes…

Data’s Day : A The Wounded : S You are correct

Silk

Knew this one was gonna get you guys. It hits just right in all the places for me. My favorite scene is O'Brian and the Cardassian in 10 Forward. Some great depth there for our Mr O'Brian. Thanks guys.

Dru Blood

I like the revelation that O'Brien used to be a tactical officer. Dude clearly went through some shit during the war, so he took a pretty banal transporter operator assignment on the flagship and probably appreciated how quiet his day was.

The minstrel boy to the war is gone In the ranks of death you will find him His father's sword he hath girded on And his wild harp slung behind him "Land of Song" said the warrior bard "Tho' all the world betrays thee One sword, at least, thy right shall guard One faithful harp shall praise thee" The minstrel fell, but the foeman's chain Could not bring that proud soul under The harp he lov'd ne'er spoke again For he tore its cords asunder And said "no chains shall sully thee, Thou soul of love and bravery Thy songs were made for the pure and free They shall never sound in slavery" -Thomas Moore (1779–1852)
