She was expressing frustration that despite the fact that there were notable similarities to Corgenia (such as helping someone with their problem) it DID NOT result in her number going down. So helping others overcome their problems at the very least doesn't consistently lower her number

There are so many mysteries and things that are just weird for the sake of weird in this show that you're gonna have a hard time parsing them.
