First Update of 2026

I'll start by saying that after glancing at my year-long schedule it looks like its going to be an odd fuckin year for my YouTube and patreon shit BUT im hopeful that it will be a more sustainable and stable year overall for my work flow even if my output is probably going to end up as spotty as last year.

There are two main things that are going to make this year Odd (like Future) for me and my content:

Firstly I have a buncha personal events for family and friends this year to attend (why all in the same year and why during a trump presidency is beyond me but i digress, guess im not going on vacation til 2029) that are going to fuck up any ambition to be hardcore consistent with my work so Im not going to kid myself that Im going to be "back to form" whatever the fuck that means. Bottom line a consistent flow for work is likely not possible.

Secondly, I have at least 3 different projects I want to get done this year that will require sizable amounts of time to prepare which means sizable amounts of silence from me between projects in order to get them done. Some may not happen, some may change in scale if I realize im doing too much for something that may end up being a FLOP and one Ive been trying to do for years and im D E T E R M I N E D to put that fucker out this year no matter the cost or time between public videos it takes.

Overall im being more nihilistic realistic this year and not gunna sugar coat my output or try to be overly ambitious because while last year was a fairly fulfilling year creatively, I was struggling all the way thru. Like i said in my year end livestream it was arguably one of the worst years of my life and so im tryna learn from that and not fall into old overworking habits without a solid work foundation being set in place first - my monthly health care premiums are TOO HIGH for me to get injured like i did last year or sick like i was the year before (only half joking).

Upcoming Content

So first off the intended 2026 BL Anime Adaptations video has been delayed in part cause Im still working on getting my shit together and in part because I can use that video to give a mid-season review of the Bean Counter anime. Initially was intended to go up this month but again ive been tryna make sure my mental and organizational foundation for this year is solid so it will likely be up towards the end of February and end up as the only video of FujoFeb this year. Im not gunna say "ill do more for fujofeb next year!" like i feel ive said the past 3 years cause im a LIARRRRR clearly so if/when an increase in input for that month happens, it happens lmao.

ON A MORE POSITIVE NOTE - and very much in the spirit of fujofeb - I am officially set to do a panel at CitrusCon 2026 which is happening from February 27th-March 1st. My Panel is going to be called Content Creation, Yaoi & You(Tube) and will essentially be me giving a breakdown of things to know for anyone who has any interest in becoming a content creator on youtube with a focus in BL, slash ships, LGBT+ identity and etc. A lot of it can also apply to pretty much any niche but i will be focusing on the struggles as someone who talks about BL and giving tips based in my experience navigating the platform. Should be a hot mess especially cause yall know i am technologically disinclined so come thru for the shitshow.

Speaking of shitshow, with me still getting my shit together there will be no Natz Cast this month so I apologize to anyone looking for one of those. I will be starting to make those again with a BL focus towards the end of February after ive gotten everything else done. From then on I will be doing them monthly as usual, or potentially biweekly if they end up being shorter in length but TBD.

Additionally all other bonus content you may expect from me will likely also not be coming any time soon. It will arrive when it arrives but i greatly underestimated the amount of organizational shit Ive had to do both for this and in my personal life especially since ive been working nonstop since end of november. However im again prioritizing having my shit together first before I really start up the content making factory for the rest of the year.

The goal is to let this year be the mess it is destined to be and then 2027 ill be different (or a liar once again). Sorry for the delay and the delay continuing to delay but Ill be back soon enough.
