As far as I remember this is the episode that starts the tradition of the Enterprise D crew solving major problems by stuffing anti-matter into the site of the crisis.

I know that all of the old cathode-ray tube television monitors of every movie or television show were sort of required to have some special effects as such moving images were highly distorted when filmed. I think all or most the Star Trek: the Next Generation special effects were created on Apple computers of that era, and that was about a decade before Windows 95 came out.

Picard and Beverly have never been a thing and they are just friends. They're both "obviously" into each other, but there has been no action on it.
