LIVE Q&A QUESTIONS
Added 2023-10-14 13:19:44 +0000 UTCThis Wednesday we will be doing a LIVE Q&A on YouTube. The topic will be our final thoughts on Star Trek TOS & Star Trek 1-4.
Patron & Superchat questions will be taken first before opening up for questions in YouTube chat. Post your question here!
For the sake of time, only ask ONE question and do not make it too long to read. If you leave multiple or unnecessarily long questions on this post they will not be read. If you ask a question that another Patron already asked, yours will not be read. Sorry for the strict rules, want to have time to read as many as possible.

ALL of your hopes for future 'Treks that you discussed on the internet that we got to listen to you talk about will.......... oh, no spoilers. But get ready, for it's a 300-year saga that has a DEEP TAPESTRY of sci-fi drama .... and it gets better as we go farther out. .......YOU'LL SEE.5

2023-10-20 03:36:06 +0000 UTCI absolutely agree with so many others: you guys bring FRESHNESS to watching ST: TOS, TAS, TNG and more. Please do continue; it's as if we're seeing it almost for the first time, and/or again after far too long being away.

2023-10-20 03:34:49 +0000 UTC5You may also want to consider ONE other fan-made Trek story called "Starship Exter: The Tressaurian Intersection" - which appears, feels and plays out as if it's a lost Desilu episode taking place on another ship (USS Exeter), sister ship to Kirk's Enterprise. Down the road, for perspective on how far Star Trek has influenced pop culture, including the film industry, this is one I highly recommend. It was created to be a 51-minute episode identical in scope to any episode of TOS. ....Just FYI.

2023-10-20 03:32:38 +0000 UTCI always imagined that "probe" from StarTrek IV is huge aquarium full of whales or some simillar species. It would make sense that mass and shape etc.

2023-10-18 23:38:40 +0000 UTCShatner has always been lampooned for hamming it up. I think he’s fantastic especially S1. Did you have any preconceived opinions and did they change post TOS ?

2023-10-18 19:53:07 +0000 UTCDo you think Captain Christopher from Tomorrow is Yesterday would have made an interesting regular TOS series character?
Mark Chrisco
2023-10-18 18:59:50 +0000 UTCStar Trek has been a live-action series, an animated cartoon, and a series of films. If you could have more original Trek in just one of those formats, would you rather: a) another two seasons of TOS (making it literally a five-year mission); b) another 43 episodes of TAS (bringing it up to a total of 65 episodes, which was the standard minimum amount for animated syndication); or c) another three-film arc set before Wrath of Khan (so released in, say, 1973, 1975, and 1977)?

2023-10-15 12:23:03 +0000 UTCAlthough it would have been nice to have seen Harry Mudd and some of the old Klingon commanders, they did briefly bring back Khan, Spock's parents, Yeoman Rand, Nurse Chapel, and Kyle. Any crewman, person, or alien you wished that they had brought back at least for a cameo?

2023-10-15 10:24:30 +0000 UTCWhen I was 10 or 12 my hero was Captain Kirk. He was cooler than my dad, he won the fights, outsmarted the computers and got the girl. If you had grown up watching Trek who do you think would have been your hero?

2023-10-14 18:32:35 +0000 UTCObviously these won't be your Final Thoughts on classic Trek since you haven't watched movies 5 and 6 yet. Are you doing this now because you don't want to wait until you are too far removed in time from watching TOS and too deep into TNG?

2023-10-14 13:39:17 +0000 UTCYou've watched "The Cage", which was never broadcast on television but was shown at conventions post-TOS original run to pump up fan excitement for new Trek. That leaves one bit of original Trek media left, the official Star Trek TOS Blooper Reel, which was also shown by Roddenberry Productions at conventions. Will you watch it at some point?
