Along the lines of your Batman crossover, Donald Bellasario also created Magnum PI, and I believe I read that at one point they threw around the idea of Sam leaping into Magnum for an episode, but the idea never got very far.

2023-08-28 02:43:45 +0000 UTCAs I remember it, Quantum Leap was never really bad, but it was also never really excellent or really memorable perhaps due to the nature of the show, although I think there are a few unique episodes per season. I think I like episodic television better than most people today, but its episodes usually followed a formula which is perhaps it's biggest downside. Apparently the next episode is directed by Ivan Dixon of Hogan's Heroes fame.
