Yeah. In terms of realtime, there will be just about a month break between us watching the last episode of TOS and starting to watch TAS.

If you were to go straight into it from the original series, it would probably be like “What the hell is this?” But this way it can be like “Cool, more Star Trek.” … which is pretty much how it was received back in the day.
