Corporate Development Memo 4/28/2024

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great week!

Some of the images above (second part) are the sub poll, the total set will be 33 images and I will share the entire set later today as I am still rendering about five of them as I write this update! But I decided to share about 7 of that 32 set for everyone just for fun :)

I managed to do those 32 renders and still do about 80 game renders this week for a so I've now at a grand total of 775 renders.  I will be on the dom path a few more weeks doing alternate branch scenes to get it all set up back to the main path so to speak.

Next week I will be on the dom poll and more work on the dom path branch scenes. I am usually happy if I can do 100 renders a week but with polls of course I lose out a little bit each time. From my perspective these do help me sometimes with new ideas for the game too, but for me I think it helps my creativity and avoids some burnout too. Of course, as the update gets closer, I will likely ramp up and stop polls that last time period to get things out.

I also want to address a rare Discord ban I did recently. I just want to be clear what is totally fine or not fine for a ban in that space. I will admit I have less patience for stupidity than most things so I try and be patient of course.

OK: You can trash my game, the narrative, story, characters all you like. The game itself is fair, almost anything goes beyond pure trolling/harassment. Anything related to my work is ok with me, absent one exception which I will state below.

NOT OK:  Any kink shaming of any kind to other posters. Any harassment/trolling other posters. I will also be overprotective of comments relating to Anais given her age and place in the world.

Last, anyone that outright questions my integrity (relating to my character -- an example saying that I am deliberately doing polls to avoid working on the game) and not the game -- will be instabanned by me. (which is what happened here) I simply do not have the bandwidth to want to deal with this kind of low level thinking. I am more than comfortable with my track record of trying to do right for everyone since Episode 1. I think the evidence shows that I try to do my best even with a lot of mistakes of course. If Patrons do not want the polls at all, I am fine with not doing them too.

While I am ok with any game trashing, I have always and will state again that I am juggling numerous things and always working hard. I simply won't tolerate my character being attacked anymore on my own server. One can certainly do that in a public space and feel free to do so, but I won't let it stand on a social media space I control personally.

Anyway, I wanted that disclaimer written out on some level so people feel comfortable discussing, and even attacking my story but realizing where there is a line not to cross.

Things are starting to calm down for me on other work so May should be a pretty good month!
