2025-07-16 12:09:48 +0000 UTCYou can definitely make arguments for and against the quality of the whole of the Netflix MCU stuff one by one, but one thing that is undeniable is the efficiency that they pulled it all off with. They pretty much had a plan. The fact that they were able to do Daredevil, JJ, DD season 2, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, culminate with Defenders, and then JJ season 2, Punisher, Punisher season 2, Iron Fist season 2 and JJ and DD season 3, all within 5 years or so and deliver on the vision that was put in place at the start and keep it cohesive is just unmatched for streaming TV. I don’t think we’ll ever get anything like this again even under Disney +, they’re simply too bogged down in risk aversion and production bloat now. Budgets aside, in the time Netflix did all of this saga, Disney + can do like 2 things, and with half the quantity and waffling on what the stories are. It’s wild and and I’ll forever be grateful Netflix had the guts to try this. Glad you guys have enjoyed it all so far.
