unfortunately we will prob never see black widow again because scarlett johansen hates ryan reynolds and probably wants nothing to do with anything he is a part of - hopefully she does come back at some point :(

I liked the movie but it's not nearly as good as the first 2. I give it a 6.5 or 7/10

I hope Agatha All Along comes soon (cause the Netflix shows will still take a long time), so that we're all caught up with the MCU!

No they just took it off the release schedule. Still being work on just not a top priority for them anymore. Ima assume Blade will be released after Secret Wars

That is how movies should be, not cash grabs, you can make a great movie and get a lot of money off of it, i don't get why the people in the industry sometimes think you have to get one or the other, good movie = big money and everyone is happy, why can't they do them all like this ? I would put Ryan Raynolds in charge of the jokes for all the movies :) he knows how to make jokes and somehow even though Deadpool is jokey as hell, all 3 movies have very deep/dark moments at times. This was so good in cinema i went a second time :))

“When I want your opinion I’ll take Wolverine’s d*ck out of your mouth!” - what makes it even better is knowing that KidPool is Ryan's actual daughter.

I came back to say that the director, Shawn Levy, also directed 8 episodes of my all time favorite tv show, Stranger Things. Specifically, my favorite episode, S4E4, Dear Billy. He did episodes 3 and 4 of all 4 seasons, and is confirmed to be directing at least 1 episode in S5. He's also directed the Night at the Museum series, Reel Steel and Free Guy, among the most notable.

I guess, but it's not enough in my opinion. I wouldn't really feel it if it was just Deadpool. He's mostly there to make jokes (there are exceptions of course) and it can get a bit tedious and annoying for me. If it was just that, the movie wouldn't work for me. So I'm glad Logan is there to balance it out. Hugh is able to convey so much emotion and I don't think Ryan Reynolds (while I like him) has the acting chops to pull that off. Even Reynolds himself said that he plays himself in every movie. Which is fine, but I prefer actors with more range. But if you disagree that's totally cool 🙂

I love hugh, But I do disagree that Deadpool doesn't bring the emotion. Not so much in this movie I guess. But in the first two Deadpool movies his connection with Vanessa, especially when he was dying

This movie was so much better than it had any business being. It could've just been a cash grab, but they let both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman cook. I love how the Void was made into a metaphor for canceled franchises (or in the case of Channing Tatum's Gambit, a franchise that never got off the ground).
But let's be honest, aside from all the fourth-wall breaking and cameos, the most ridiculous thing in this movie is that Honda Odyssey. There's no way that POS would still drive after all that damage.
Oh, and Chris Evans...language!

First, let me say, this is the first time I've ever scribbled notes during a reaction so I could remember the things I wanted to comment. I've never rearranged my desk to watch a reaction either - normally my water bottle blocks a small part of the screen but I moved it so I didn't miss a thing! Rob and Trin, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE of not seeing this in the theater/cinema so that we could have blind reaction!!! I love your excitement and commitment for going in blind. There aren't a whole lot of authentic first reactions as most saw it in the theater. Their reactions aren't that great when they try to play it off like it's their first time or they're honest up front but we still don't get to see their genuine first impressions. When you watch this with the context that Ryan and Hugh are besties in real life, it just makes it that much better! This is probably the best intro I've ever seen - but I was a little sad that someone ruined my delusion that it was Ryan Reynolds in the suit dancing to Bye, Bye, Bye. I was in middle school and my boy band phase when this song came out and I was beyond obsessed with N'Sync and this dance. For me, Blade walking on screen surprised me more than anything else in the movie but I LOVED seeing Channing Tatum finally get his chance at Gambit. Ryan Reynolds fought for that - Channing has wanted that for YEARS. I enjoyed Taylor Kitsch as Gambit too - I just like Gambit as a character. He's my favorite of the X-Men. I appreciate them both for bringing this character to life! Such a bummer that there are only two live action appearances of him! I hope they include him in the future X-Men properties. The soundtrack is perfection - much like James Gunn (PLEASE WATCH PEACEMAKER; it has a great soundtrack) - they nailed it with their song choices. And the last thing I will say in this hodge podge of random nonsense, THE COWL. OMG, when Wolverine put the cowl on at the end, I actually cried a little bit. What an absolute dream come true to see him finally don it on screen in live action. We can thank Hugh Jackman for this movie as much as anyone. Ryan pitched several different versions of this (sans Wolverine) to Marvel execs and was turned down on multiple occasions. It wasn't until Hugh called Ryan and said "I want in." that this was even possible. Props to Kevin Feige and Marvel for letting Ryan go wild!

This movie is mostly fun. But Hugh Jackman gives it the depth it needs. There are some things Deadpool just can't deliver and Logan is the emotional component. Hugh truly gives a great performance. And I felt the grief, anger and trauma he was going through. Especially the scene in the car, where he goes off on Wade. Most of the stuff he said in that moment was true and Wade knows it. It was the ultimate burn and that's why even he didn't have anything to say for a moment. I know you're always defending Deadpool, but he did use and lie to Logan to get his help. But you can also see that Logan is projecting and has a lot of hate for himself. It's such great acting. He's by far the best part of this movie.
And at 56 he still looks f*cking great. 🤩 The scene where he finally got his shirt off was so satisfying and just shows that after all these years he still got it. He trained so hard for this. People were going crazy in the theater.

By the way - you missed it, but when Logan smashed Deadpool's head against the radio in the car the song "The Greatest Show" from The Greatest Showman started to play for a second.

Dog pool is very much a real dog. He was actually voted the world's ugliest dog online I believe and Ryan Reynolds said that considering Deadpool's appearance, basically they had to have that dog, and he talks about how the dog was kissing his mouth and licking inside. So gross

Hi fellow Marvel nerd! I appreciate the time and effort you put into this but can you please edit the cast list for upcoming projects? The titles are unavoidable as they have to know what's coming down the line but they consider casting spoilers. They like to go in as blind as possible and be surprised by who they see. We like to see their excitement as part of the reactions. Thank you! LFG ❤️💛

As soon as I heard Chris Evans voice, I leaned over to my son and said, “That’s not Steve.”

“When I want your opinion I’ll take Wolverine’s d*ck out of your mouth!”
Favorite line of the movie
🤣🤣🤣
It cracks me up every time!
I LOVED the meta humor in this completely fan service film.
My 2 favorite jokes are the fact that Logan is the anchor being of the Fox X-Verse, because of course he is! He’s in (almost) every movie.
🤣🤣🤣
I love that they addressed one of the biggest complaints the fans had about how Fox handled the X-Men, and then of course made it into a hilarious joke.
2nd favorite joke was Deadpool calling Wolverine “Peanut” which is the same term of endearment that Scott uses for Cassie in the Ant-Man series.
I love that DP kept using lines from the MCU.
“On your left, Baby Girl.”
Was this movie perfect? No.
Was this movie a fun & wonderful ride thru a time that was an important part of my life? ABSOLUTELY!!!
And I loved every second of it!

ME TOO!!! I was 19 when the first X-Men movie came out and have became an adult and raised a family while making memories with the Fox X-Verse, Sony Spider-Verse, and the MCU.
Now they are all coming together, and we are saying goodbye to the era that started it all.
I 💯 teared up as soon as I heard Sir Patrick’s voice and saw the door to Cerebro in the end credits.

2024 was the year the X-Men came home, and what a fantastic homecoming it was.
On March 20, 2024 the first two episodes of X-Men ‘97 dropped on Disney+ and we all breathed a sigh of relief.
The series concluded on May 15th and it was damn near perfect.
A couple months later, on July 26 Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters all across the U.S. and once again we breathed a collective sigh of relief.
20th Century Fox gave us one of the first big screen Marvel movies.
In those early movies there are some fantastic and memorable performances, stories, quotes, visuals, music…and every once in while it all came together in a film that felt like an X-Men film.
“You were one of the X-Men. F*ck that. You were THE X-Man.”
And that was the problem, Hugh was just too good, and became the focus, and you can’t have an X-Men movie that doesn’t focus on the X-Men.
Then First Class came along in 2011, and got it mostly right, while also getting so much wrong…but once again, McAvoy & Fassbender were just too good, and once again we started to get X-Men movies that didn’t truly center around the X-Men, or at least not in the way they should have.
So many amazing Mutants didn’t get a proper big screen debut back in the early days, when Marvel movies were still figuring it all.
I will always love the Fox era of Marvel. It was the first time I saw my childhood on the big screen in a way that made me feel like a kid again.
I saw several in theaters on my birthday opening weekend with friends and family. Made so many wonderful memories. I got to know characters I hadn’t given much attention to in my youth.
Characters that are now some of my favorite in all of Marvel.
For better or worse, I will always be an X-Men fan first, and a Marvel fan 2nd.
Kevin Feige got his start in Marvel as an associate producer on the first X-Men film back in 2000.
Now Feige is the president of Marvel Studios, and it has all come full circle.
If what we saw in 2024 is any indication about what Marvel Studios can do with these beloved characters, then the future of the MCU is brighter than a Wolverine in a comic accurate suit.
Here’s to the future.
Welcome Home X-Men!

I teared up a little in the theaters at the little reel of the fox movies playing along Good Riddance (Time of your life) because those were the movies that I grew up watching and it hit me right in the feels. It was a great goodbye ♥️ also I remember watching in theater and immediately clocking that Chris Evans was Johnny Storm because Deadpool was just too excited to see Cap lmao tell Trin to watch the og Fantastic 4 movies!

I’ve been putting off watching this until you guys got to it and we’re finally here. The amount of cameos and crossovers from this was insane I was not expecting that much to happen. Deadpool and Wolverine are officially in the MCU along with other comic characters. We love 4th wall breaks and self awareness. That statue that you thought was Wanda I think was actually Wanda/the Scarlett witch. Anyway I’m looking forward to wherever the MCU goes from here they unlocked a lot of characters. You only need to watch the Agatha show then your fully caught up on the MCU

Fun Fact: The New MCU Blade Film was announced back in 2019 and we are now in 2025. They have had serious issues getting this film going. They got close to filming at one point but Kevin said nah this isn’t good. They have had multiple script changes, multiple different writers, Ali was angry with some of the scripts getting ready to walk from the film at one point, one of the scripts even barely had blade in the movie and focused more on the female character in the film. Lots of issues with this new reboot which is why Wesley Said what he said. Who knows when this film will come out

It's hard and not even a lot of Americans understood Gambit's accent but he has a very traditional Cajun accent. And yes, in very muddled Cajun french said "let the good times roll." He also called himself by "le diable blanc." A lot of people don't understand what his accent is because it's very specific Louisianan Cajun and honestly, Channing does a pretty decent job at replicating it

Congratulations on catching up with the MCU so far. I hope you guys will react to Agatha All Along soon. What If season 3 is also now streaming.
Other than that, here’s what we can expect for the remainder of phase five:
• First, we’re a month away from Anthony Mackie’s very own Captain America movie titled Brave New World.
• On March 4th, Charlie Cox returns in Daredevil: Born Again.
• This May, we’re getting The Thunderbolts. Yelena and the Red Guardian from Black Widow 2020 are teaming up with Bucky, John Walker/U.S. Agent, and Ava Starr/Ghost to form a team of deadly antiheroes.
• On June 24th, we’re finally getting Ironheart. Dominique Thorne returns from Wakanda Forever to reprise her role as Riri Williams in her own show. This will close out phase five.
And then this July, we’re kicking off phase six with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The team will consist of the following:
• Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic
• Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman
• Joseph Quinn as Sue’s brother Johnny/Human Torch
• Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing
We also have two animated series. First, a four-part series named Eyes of Wakanda will focus on the unsung heroes of the all-powerful nation as they recover vibranium weapons from the wrong hands.
Then we’re finally getting the What If spinoff called Marvel Zombies. This will also be a four-episode run just in time for Halloween.
Then this December we’re getting a new live-action series called Wonder Man starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen the Second as the lead character Simon Williams.
And finally, we have two Avengers films to look forward to. The fifth entry was originally titled The Kang Dynasty, but after certain things happened they changed the name. Now it’ll be called Doomsday, and it’s set for spring of next year.
Then in 2027, we’re gonna get Avengers: Secret Wars. The name of this film remains unchanged.
(Oh, and we’re supposed to have a new Blade film for the MCU with Mahershala Ali portraying him. The movie was announced in 2019, but it keeps getting delayed. All I know for sure is that it’ll be R-rated.)
Now onto the fun facts about the movie.
Something I really appreciated about this movie was the opening credits. Deadpool 1 and 2 had the credits at the very end and I was never a fan of that, but this time they acknowledged everyone just like James Gunn did with the Guardians franchise.
The quality took me by surprise because this is a Deadpool movie. Deadpool 1 and 2 were made to intentionally look like total CGI, but with the MCU involved they had to raise the bar. It paid off more than well.
Also, I don’t think the MCU was necessarily at a low point except with Secret Invasion. Most of the projects they revealed after Endgame were pretty excellent. Guardians Volume 3 and Loki season 2 helped pick up the slack and more.
What I was most excited for was for you guys to see Laura again. Dafne Keen was only 10-11 years old when she worked on Logan 2017 which was her big acting debut. She recently turned 20, and after all these years she can still channel that rage. Dafne had doubts as to whether she would be able to portray Laura the same way or better. Now that she’s back, she actually wants to continue with her role.
Before my sister and I went to see this movie on opening weekend, I joined for her first time watching Loki season 2. I especially wanted her to see Ke Huy Quan, and like me his character O.B. ended up being one of her favorites. The reactions paid off after seeing the new and improved TVA have a role.
By the way, this is the second X-Men film to have Bye Bye Bye. The first one was X-Men 2. However, that’s not Ryan Reynolds in the suit. That was a pro dancer named Nick Pauley. He needed to come up with the choreo as fast as he could. He was credited as Dancepool.
We have a few members of the Deadpool Corps to acknowledge:
1.) first, Ladypool was voiced by Ryan’s real life wife Blake Lively. Their kids Inez and Olin got to appear as Kidpool and Babypool.
2.) Cowboypool is probably my favorite variant. He was voiced by Matthew McConaughey.
3.) the floating skull was voiced by Nathan Fillion. You guys saw him in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 when he portrayed Master Karja, leader of the Orgosentries.
4.) Most of the Deadpools are Canadian, but the most Canadian of them all is Canadapool. He wears a black Deadpool costume with a Canadian flag on his chest.
5.) Zenpool is probably the most unique among the corps. He’s the one in a grey-blue robe shooting blowdarts.
6.) the one with the Welsh flag is Welshpool. He’s portrayed by Paul Mullin from the Welsh football club Wrexham FC which is co-owned by Ryan. You can also see Paul in the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham.
7.) Tom Holland’s brother Harold got to join the corps as his own take on the character. They call him Haroldpool.
