And the phony apology - he 'apologises' for her being a single mom, but never apologises for raping her or abusing her. Like, gtfo dude. He lost the right to be a father the second he laid a finger on Rita, and even more so when he threatened to hurt them if she tried to leave.

They did this whole 'estranged father trying to redeem himself' plot and tried to make him all charming and fatherly. But he's not and he never will be. He's a rapist and shouldn't be anywhere near Rita or the kids, and she definitely shouldn't have had to be civil with him. Imagine being forced to face your rapist and having to be civil towards him repeatedly. Rita is seriously such a strong person, there's no way I'd be able to do that.

First I have a question, does anybody think that Rita's husband looks an awful lot like Dexter? I think she has a type. Secondly I didn't believe it was the man they arrested who was the ice truck killer either, but as the evidence started piling up, I questioned myself more and more. I was just as happy as you Rob when he asked Dexter who he was, and the reason why is because I know who the ice truck killer is I think....... Possible spoiler??? It's gotta be the Doctor. Something seemed off about him. Also all that shit he said to Deb when she asked how he became "Dr Hook". OMG that revelation was like a slap to me. In my head I was like Holy Shit Deb, do you not see it?
