Not only is "Silence of the Lambs" a Best Picture winner - it has a very rare distinction. In the long history of the Academy Awards, only 3 films have ever 'swept' the big 5 awards. (Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.) They are: It Happened One Night (1934), One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (1975), and Silence of the Lambs (1991).

It's the fact that they are hiring brand new directors and writers for these huge projects. They just have no experience and it shows.

Also the director went too far with Thor, just a tone change and it would have been a very good movie, though it's not horrible, some jokes were good. Warewolf by night was awesome and it redeems the whole month. Also this is my opinion, feel free to politely disagree :)
