(At least that's what's I would have made the line if I was the writer.

For those that don't notice it the first time to have it be more of a surprise. Which is why it would have been preferred if they found the confirmation out for that themselves later on.

So it was thrown out there that Otto was the man who came across her but they kinda talked themselves out of recognizing that fact lol. It happens right 😉

2023-03-23 03:19:53 +0000 UTCThe Sombra Negra that Daniel was a part of are a real life military death squad specializing in kidnapping, torture and murder that worked for far-right paramilitary during the Salvadoran Civil War. They have an absolutely heinous MO and it's honestly such a ballsy move on Dave Erickson (writer and showrunner of s1-3 of Fear) to give a character a backstory that is interconnected with real life events and atrocities. But on the other hand it automatically makes him one of the most capable survivors (even more so if it weren't for his age since the character is 67) and already before the series has even started, the one character with the highest body count out the entire franchise cast made up of deliberate and direct kills. Hardcore.
