2023-02-28 13:11:27 +0000 UTCYes, thank you, sorry I may have not clarified what I meant. I noted it has a little sci-fi but I wouldn’t say it’s the main genre. True that it’s classified under multiple genres (mostly for marketing purposes) including sci-fi, but I least would say the overarching and main genre is young adult dystopian / post-apocalyptic. If I were describing it to a friend to help them know if they’d want to see it or not, I wouldn’t lead with sci-fi. Like for Groundhog Day, it is technically marketed under multiple genres including drama & fantasy and while the film has some elements of drama & fantasy in it, it’s mostly a comedy, so personally I would lead with saying that comedy is the overarching genre of that film. Hope that clears up any confusion I made with my previous comment! Thanks for the clarification!

2023-02-28 09:22:27 +0000 UTCAhhh yay I’m pulling for The Prestige and Inception!!! Arrival is so good too! The Prestige and Inception deserve to get much, much higher up in the votes. I really wanna see Trin & Rob react to them 🤞🏻 The filmmaking is amazing and I really think Trin & Rob will enjoy them and all the intrigue that’s built into those stories. Not sure The Hunger Games films are sci/fi. They’re more so teen post-apocalyptic with a very small bit sci-fi. Looks like the films that are more well made and smart are getting less votes. Trin & Rob know how to really appreciate good filmmaking and smart storytelling so I hope people start voting more for the well made films that are getting pretty neglected but deserve to be at the top lol! Anyway, I’m so here for Inception, The Prestige and Arrival 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
