After Episode 3 gave us Bill's suicide, I was thinking about this moment when Henry kills himself after he kills Sam..But it's more like the two sides of suicide..One from love and this one from extreme grief and the horror of what he did..So I think it was actually done well, regardless of what one thinks of the changes from Bill's town part of the game\show..
