I actually loved it that Roslin went out like this. I was so glad that she got to see Earth, sit on the grass and see it from the air. The reason she never saw the cabin was due to the prophecy. They had often spoken of that cabin and how it would look. That made the cabin her "Promised Land". A dying leader led humanity to the promised land. Scroll of Pythia. Pythia also said that the leader suffered a wasting disease and would not live to enter the new land, according to the priest Elosha. The writers had to either pay off that prophecy or figure a way round it.

I think we can see in this episode - or this merged group of episodes - what Starbuck was for. It wasn't just for the co-ordinates. Nobody else could have yelled at Admiral Adama the way she did. Nobody else could have found the words to tell him he was being an idiot, and he wouldn't have listened to anybody else. We're going after the last hope of two great races, you did your Mighty Adama Speech with the red tape, and gutted the Galactica for spare parts. You've done what was necessary. Sam Hybrid is about to have a serious conversation with Colony Hybrids, and now you're whining about Hybrid Sam in the CIC? Fuck off. Plus she's been dead. I don't think she has much fear of death now - she's had practice with it. If death fulfills a purpose, it's a good thing. I think what she was supposed to learn from her mother was that death isn't the big scary thing. She needed the practice for this very moment. Death in multiple forms. Death of the soul, death of the body, death of the emotion, the mind, the heart. That's how she was the harbinger of death. It never meant that she was evil or bringing death to anybody. "Harbinger" means "Messenger".

I’m not sure how to dm so I’m not sure you’ll see this. But I just finished watching this and really enjoyed it. I’d seen most of it before but watching with y’all made it so much better. I enjoy everything I watch with you and it does feel like watching with friends. Even when it’s a solo reaction I still hear Trin say”let’s go”. The absolute best reaction channel. Happy holidays!

Calvin?! As many times as I have seen this show and this finale I've never seen that character or those scenes

I just don't understand why all the stars of BSG didn't go to become famous tv actors with tons of roles. Everyone did such an amazing job!

Scarlett Monrow

always loved that scene. for me is the perfect summary of the heart of the series.

SanchoPanza

guessing you got it working? I tested it and it seems fine on our end

If you haven't seen it, consider reacting to "Supernatural". It's one of the best shows ever (ran for 15 years).

2:24:15 - that's heartbreaking, when Gaius cried. He did so much to live of his intellect, to be a scientist and now his most useful skills are from the life he was running from.

All the time you had that "I'm a freaking Cylon" t-shirt, I wanted to say: well, you are half right. All of us are half-human/half-cylon!

First link is not working

it was amazing to watch (and cry through) one of my favorite shows with you two! <3

Ana amazing finale to an amazing show..Pretty much wraps everything up, even though not everyone gets a 'happy' ending.. I can do without the flashback scenes but I'm glad you guys enjoyed them, they just seem to bog down the pace on re-watches.. Thanks for the ride..

Superpotroast

Lee being kinda abandoned was my biggest complaint about the finale lol. Really enjoyed it overall, though!

I think this is one of the best endings to a TV show I've ever seen. Being Human US was pretty good too. However, this really wraps everything up perfectly. Yeah, it was sad that Rosaline died, but they teased it the entire show. It would have felt off for her to miraculously survive. I loved that Hera ended up being Eve and the oldest human remains discovered. Ironic since she's part cylon. I even liked the Kara ending, though I kind of wish she'd just been Kara and her and Lee could have finally got it right. They danced around each other the entire series. I would have liked to see it work out for once. They'd both lost so much and just were never really honest about their feelings for each other. However, when they made Kara come back to life and sort of be the savior/angel it really wouldn't make sense that she stick around then. I loved seeing Helo and Athena finally get a happy ending since they've been through so much. Then...the time jump at the end to show us that they were actually living in the past was incredible. The entire time you think it's futuristic. Though, the multiple Gods worship should have given it away. The fact that they landed in Africa and spread out over the world (much like history says humans did)...meaning they were the first humans on all the planets. It basically retcons our entire history with a TV show, which is pretty cool I think.

I loved it. And I'd say happy ending. 150,000 years and its still there. Thats a happy ending to me.

Amanda Hymans

It was a journey. Thank you for your reactions to this. It allowed my to watch it again. The ending was great in my view.

Still can't believe there were people who hated the ending. This episode is a masterpiece. The flashbacks were so unexpected and bittersweet. And the episode never fails to make me cry the second Kara disappears and Roslin dies.
