So true. It is insane to me that people can not understand Hughie's side of things here. Afterall, he is the one who saved the group when Butcher literally abandoned them for selfish reasons that took him absolutely nowhere. Hughie even tried to stop Butcher from shooting Kimiko's brother for which he apologized, but went on to punch Hughie anyway. I do not grasp how these two reactors who say they understand everyone's perspective, even Homelander's, then completely ignore what Hughie is going through.

I’m surprised by how much credit you’re giving Butcher and how much criticism you have towards Hughie in this episode. Butcher’s always been the biggest jerk to the entire team, Hughie especially and his lack of loyalty for Kimiko is clear proof of that. Butcher will throw the entire group under the bus if it meant there was even a slight chance of seeing Becca again. His entire character character is being selfish and crass, and MM even told him he needs to lighten up on them all and Hughie especially cause he’s Butcher’s canary or moral compass. So MM had to talk some sense into him for him to finally do the right thing by his team.

When the season aired, they put out the first 3 episodes at once.... for a good reason ;) Here we go now!

It’s always interesting seeing people going from loving to hating Stormfront in this episode.
