2024-05-11 18:21:48 +0000 UTCConcerning the show not being scared to delve into touchy topics, like the supe terrorist that Noir fights at the beginning of the episode, being arabic..... remember what Mr Edgars told Homelander in his office. "We know you slipped compound V to terrorists all over the world..." The fact there was an arabic superterrorist wasn't because the show was delving into a sterotype.... the superterrorist was arabic because Homelander was capitalizing on that stereotype for the American audience at home that does think that way. When you think about it that way.... it makes perfect sense. He needed villains that fit the US's sterotypical view of what a terrorist is.
