2022-10-19 06:38:17 +0000 UTCI agree with that thing of Rick not surviving on his own, he is a literal father to the whole group. I´ve always love the concept of this group becoming a family cause you can clearly see which role each one plays and Rick is definetly the father like he was in the old world, and he couldn´t survive without his family, not because he can´t fight or anything, the guy is a beast, but emotionally. While Carol and Daryl are already used to handling themselves alone because of what they went through before, but you can see a development of that as the show continues tho.

2022-10-19 02:19:36 +0000 UTCMy 1st episode of TWD was s4 ep14 “The Grove.” I was intrigued. I could not understand how a woman could kill a child, even though Lizzie had killed Mika. I went and binged the entire series in a week to understand Carol. I actually identify the most with her. It’s crazy because I’ve heard so many testimonials about Carol giving them courage to escape their domestic violence situations. I know seeing Melissa McBride bring that character to life changed my life. After 5 kids and 18 yrs of verbal, emotional, and at times physical abuse, I gathered the courage to leave my now ex husband. I knew no Walker was coming to intervene on my behalf, lol so I did it all by myself. I was just like Carol in s1. I was quiet, almost mousy like and said “I’m sorry” all the time. I think we have seen so much character arcs, growth and more wisdom, but Carol has had the most. She’s an amazing character and truly adorable in real life! @Rob&Trin thank you for continuing this roller coaster ride that is TWD. I do so enjoy watching and listening to you both. The discussions of a scene is always so good. No matter how many times I’ve watched and rewatched this series, I learn something new. Sometimes your perspective of the scene reveals something I missed before. I wish everyday was TWD upload day!! Great reaction! See you both soon.

2022-10-19 01:03:52 +0000 UTCI think Maggie doesn't mention Beth because she assumes she's dead. It kind of plays into the fact that everyone thinks Beth is weak including her sister which is why she writes her off. Just how I justify it.

2022-10-19 00:49:36 +0000 UTCI'm glad Rob mentioned Carol evolution, every episode I refrain myself to telling them "just think about how things have changed for the characters and how they were in first seasons" 😆 Even Rick, look at the gap between "Officer Friendly" and the absolute beast he is right now ! That's one of the reasons why TWD is one of these shows that gain to be rewatched later, the second view is really great.
