Unfortunately, Tv-watching 101 tells me that anyone in the way of the obvious possible potential of Joyce and Hopper... is on borrowed time. Of course they made Bob so likable that his loss is really extra devastating. Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Reiser) was also surprisingly brave to stay behind to help guide Bob. Both of their characters ended up surpassing initial expectations. And... so glad El is back with the whole gang. But I'm here for her reunion with Hopper, more so than Mike. Their developing father/daughter relationship is more meaningful to me.
