I absolutely understand why Sayid would want to leave Juliet behind, she's one of the Others. WE understand a bit more about her but Sayid hasn't seen any of that

I mean, I know the Others have his father. But I have no doubt John would've chosen them either way. One thing I admire about both Kate and Sayid is their loyalty to each other on their missions.

Also, when Kate's mom contradicted her with "No, you did it for you", she didn't argue. Looked like she swallowed hard. Fantastic ep.
