I have a weird question…maybe it’s just because I watched on my phone, but do you adjust the audio pitch on the video? It’s seems like it’s pitched up just a hair. Was just curious if I’m going crazy or not.

Yay! Love this episode and the opening scene! The book club blew Rob’s mind! Haha! Juliet: “I think you’re stubborn.” HA! “Juliet has a really calming quality. I’d do anything she’s telling me to right now.” Haha what a compliment! As a Juliet fan, I love it!!!! Juliet: “I just put the toothpicks in.” HA! Rob talking about how he’d be an easy prisoner after Juliet says to trust her and then moments later… Rob: “She’s stone cold.” LOL I love that Rob loves Elizabeth Mitchell! Frequency is a great film, but unfortunately she broke her nose during filming. She’s a great actress and the only woman on the show ever to be nominated for an Emmy for the show. Huge fan and I can tell Rob will be too! Rob definitely noticed that Ben locked Juliet out! You won’t believe the number of people who forget that. Rob laughing so hard: “Juliet one-punched Jack. That’s not easy!” LOLOLOLOL I love how Rob finds all the characters sexy on the show haha. So many laughs in this episode - y’all were both really enjoying it! So happy to see! Rob: “This Juliet is compelling - really interesting.” YES! “It doesn’t matter who we were. It only matters who we are” is my favorite quote and I actually used it for my senior yearbook quote. I love that scene. Loved the reaction! One of the best - great character discussions for Juliet’s debut, as you had with Desmond in the S2 premiere. Love your excitement!

I love your reactions and your jokes and how you are enjoying it the show, and for that I came here to show my support to the great work. I always saw Jack a little like he was in this flashback, because he was always a little like this with John, and I hate him for that, because I love Locke hahahaha.... well, not hate him, but he bother me with that attitude to him. The last part, when Sarah told Jack that his father was drunk when he call her, that broke my heart. Juliet... so much to say, but only talking about this episode, I liked her inmediatly haha And I love Reatores too haha... Also watching and loving it Lost in the couch and Neil Talks. But I watch all the reactors hahaha... This are my favorites now.

Always loved her since Gia and Frequency. (Those incredible blue eyes.) Also, now I don't have to worry about slipping up and calling him Benry. As for Jack though... when you mix his inability to let go with his desperate need to fix things... I can definitely see the escalating tendencies in his nature. Makes his asking if Sarah's happy all the more poignant. Good progress. Thank you... your thoughtful discussions and excitement are a joy to experience.

And Looking back there have been some moments showing Jack act like this, impulsive and wigging our like when he ran after desmond yelling with that gun lol, but we definitely haven’t seen it to this level yet! I felt so bad for his dad trying to help him and then getting assaulted. Kinda crazy when you think how things turned out.. and ooh I love jacks breakdown moment when talking to Juliet- such a real and raw emotion I felt for him there❤️ And great acting!! Great episode and stellar reaction 😜

Gotta say Rob that after you mentioned seeing a "blonde woman with Kate" in a scene; I was somewhat anxious about this premiere because I thought that you would immediately twig upon seeing Juliet that she was on the island in that house setting. But then you said "oh a flashback" and I heaved a sigh of relief hahaha!! There is so much to take in, new characters, new settings, a ton of information- so exciting. Great new background :D

I love every scenes between Jack and Juliet (yeeaaaah, Juliet is here). Sawyer and the fish biscuit is so funny, his little dance. I watched the commentary on this episode. It's between Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) and Damon Lindelof (Head writer). It's really funny. He explains the idea of the dress for Kate came from Raiders of the lost ark where there is a similar scene. She's not used to wear dress so that makes her vulnerable. I don't know if someone told you already. The first 6 episode of season 3 aired, then there was a hiatus of 4 or 5 months, then the remaining of the season aired without interruption. So it's like a mini season with a little cliffhanger at the end.

And like you, I’ve also been enjoying Reatores. Really great post-episode discussions between everyone on both those channels, just like you and Trin.

2022-02-15 02:41:34 +0000 UTCExcited for season 3! It’s the last long season (the last 3 are a bit shorter), and there’s a lot of my favorite episodes in it! You’ve seen hints of this Jack since Day 1: he can be impulsive, stubborn, obsessive, and he is definately not good at letting go. That’s what I love about him, he’s not the perfect american superhero some would expect from the get go, he’s as flawed as the rest of them. And Matthew Fox does irrational/angry/sad Jack amazingly well.
