Bonus Romantic Snippet: D/X

Based on the poll results from last time, X/D won out with a majority wanting to read it from D's POV as well, so that's what I wrote for this month.
I had so much fun with this snippet and it flowed so easily (literally wrote it in like, 2 hours) that I could just feel my brain flooding with gratitude-serotonin for being able to write a completely new dynamic. I'm definitely going to be writing A/R and A/X snippets for the next two months as well!!
For this month, though, you'll get this snippet. It's pretty juicy with a ~1.8k word count, I imagine it's a little bit of a canon-divergent scenario that takes place a few months before the Crown is found.
Like, in actual canon, this scene probably didn't happen, so it's a "what if D had acted impulsively for a rare moment" type of thing haha.
