Weekly Progress Update [17/APR]

Heya gang, hope all the holidays are going well for those celebrating, and for those who aren't, hope you had a great week regardless!

To get right into the thick of it, I started writing the opening scene for Chapter Nine this week, and almost finished 1 of the 2 major branching variants. My wordcount for this week was 3.2k, almost halfway to 7k, and with 2 weeks left for April I think I can safely say that I'll likely surpass it for this month! 

My foremost writing goal is to get the opening scene finished: once I have that out of the way, with all the variants involved, I'll have a much easier time with the rest of the chapter. There's also going to be short LI-specific variants during this scene, which will also vary depending on your relationship points with them so far. 

Consider it your first, small relationship check; there will be a bigger scene for it as well near the end of Chapter Nine, especially if your love interest is X or D 👀

Not making any promises here, but I really hope to aim for a late June/early July release for Chapter Nine! That's also the deadline for me to finish my bachelor's thesis, so we'll see how it goes; take it as an optimistic first guess, lol

Other fun updates:

• With the Patreon pledges that I've reached already this month, I'm almost at my first goal, so I've put in a commission with Gabby (artbygaia) for more official AToC art! I'll post the WIP teasers here as well once there's any progress to report on from Gabby's end.
• While I can't give you a release date on this, I will tell you that the first side characters that Gabby will be working on are Tûjo, Heval and Şanazî, for the Crescent Blades 🌙✨
• Small scheduling update: I'm intending to take the last week of April to fully focus on writing AToC, so you'll get X's character snippet early, next Saturday! This will be made available for everyone who's at the Crown tier 👑
