Mind poisoned, but I'm absolutely convinced that Spirals and Moonlight are Revolutionary Girl Utena references to highlight that Yuu and Chi's relationship is developing closer to romantic love. The spiral CGI staircase is obviously very Utena, but the dancing in the moonlight is extremely Adolescence of Utena.

The video and audio actually stops for like 5-6 seconds and then just skips forward.
