Enjoyed the reaction and episode. The crystals were clever. Actually, one option, as you say, would have been to have Stark walk 10 feet behind them with the crystal. That would have worked well in the theme of the episode -- him feeling a bit alienated at having to walk in front or behind might have added to the tension when we're worried if he'll stay with the party! I like that they're continuing to follow the "double story" episode sequence for many of the stories before they get into the major arcs. I'd guess we might also see Denken and perhaps his "granddaughter" partner again as well, given he also needed to go north. Cool ED - showing how the human world seems so fast from Frieren's perspective (?)
