This is exactly why I found it so interesting when you discussed during the anime reactions what would happen if you lose your head. We see from this incident that losing the head does in fact shut down the body, as the rest of Phos is completely intact except for her head. The consciousness isn't 100% stored in the head, as memories are stored in every part of the body, but a large enough part is stored there that just losing the head effectively kills them. Which raises an inevitable question, what's still left in Lapis's head? What happens when you combine that onto Phos's body? Phos is no stranger to new parts, but none of the other ones had existing inclusions in them. What does that do to a gem? Post-Lapis Phos is my second favorite version of her, by far. My favorite version of her though is what comes after, with an outfit change. I cannot wait until we get to that point, because it gets so much crazier.

I have been waiting and have skipped lunch so that I can order pizza for this đ Seriously though. This is the highlight of the week for me currently.
