The Other Planes

Hello!

Is there a better way to break the monotony than writing a wordy post? Well, today we will be talking about the World of Elfheim, or to be more precise, about the other worlds.

As things were before, the word "World" in "World of Elfheim" didn't display the whole picture. So far, we have established that Elfheim is a considerably large floating island and the land of the Elves. A magical place like that could certainly house many fantastical creatures and places, but a certain question, one about the origin of a certain Slime occasionally comes to mind.

So, specifically speaking about the lore, we're already giving a glimpse about the other Planes that are connected to Elfheim in some form. You might be familiar with a few of the names, but if you are already paying close attention to the 40+ Elves Sunna has created, you might notice a certain theme.

Elfheim, Jotunheim, Nidhogg, Nilfheim and Midgard are the names of the known Planes, each one having it's own characteristics, native inhabitants and environment. Information about the planes is currently scarce, we do know Elfheim is a continental sized Island, seemingly floating above an endless cloudy mist, but others are known to be an entire planet. 

Our friendly Slime might be even more special, since a certain tree might as well have millions of branches, the Plane that is home to the Slimes might be an entire new discovery(you can call it Slimeheim for the time being)...

Finally, even though there's all that new info to ponder about, Elfheim will still be mainly focused on... Elfheim, so don't expect to part ways with our lovely Elves anytime soon, because you certainly won't!

Next time we will be talking about divinity and their place in the known Planes (but this will be taking place in another post).

The wiki will be updated in the near future to reflect all of this new info. Right now, we are busy getting the next Alpha ready for you guys in a couple of days :)
